• Resume content. When you upload a resume, we extract its text to perform the ATS analysis. Files are processed in memory and not stored long-term on our servers.
• Job descriptions. Text you paste into the analyzer is sent to our AI provider only to generate your analysis.
• Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and analytics.

2. How we use information

• To generate your ATS analysis and improvement suggestions.
• To monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of the Service.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party services

We use the following processors:

• AI providers to run resume analysis (data is not used to train their models under our agreement).
• Hosting & CDN providers to deliver the website.
• Google AdSense to serve advertising. Google may use cookies to personalize ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
• Analytics to understand aggregate usage.

4. Data retention

Resume and job-description text submitted for analysis is discarded after your session. Aggregate analytics and server logs are retained for up to 12 months.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@refyneresume.com to exercise these rights.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit and follow industry best practices to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
